Media Stunts Abound in Russia

Last week Putin tagged Dasha, a beluga whale. According to YahooNews, Saturday, he put on some special blue thermals, jumped into a mini-submarine, and journeyed to the bottom of Lake Baikal.

"Russian news agencies said Putin had dived to a depth of around 1,400 metres (4,600 feet) -- the deepest point in the lake's southern part -- and safely returned to the surface after four hours underwater. Excited Russian journalists even asked Putin on his return if he now intended to visit the International Space Station (ISS) for his next exploit but he played down this idea."

In other news, Russia look at this little monkey. Isn't he adorable? Why are you worried about economic, population, and public health crises?! Putin, whales, mini-subs, MONKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Russia has been the same kind of country during the past years, and that matter of fact is that I don't think things are going to change over those latitudes soon.
