How can you cover your eyes AND brace yourself in the door way? Not to mention mushroom clouds are like eclipses. Sure I'm not supposed to look directly at them, but how many times are you going to be alive for one?

"Place newspaper on head" seems to be the most useful one of these instructions. Too bad we don't have any broadsheet papers in Sweden any more, I'm sure a tabloid only gives half the protection.
