It’s hard to tell which is part of this story is worse. The mob of people who smashed a public menorah in Chisinau, or the subsequent statement by the Russian Orthodox Church:
“We believe that this unpleasant incident could have been avoided if the menorah had been placed near a memorial for victims of the Holocaust.”Keep your Judaism to the holocaust and nobody gets hurt.

The "priest" in the story was a "monk".
Quite embarrassing ... failed both as a show of strength and as a show of intelligence.

Some reports put the number as high as 200. But your last point is well taken.
The list of Jewish Bolsheviks, Cheka policemen, MVD, NKVD, SMERSH agents and commissars is....impressive, the numbers of innocent people killed by their "Soviet" republic is seemingly endless.
If internationaal Jewry swears to "never forget" their "holocaust", why should we expect the common men and women of the former Soviet republic to forget the Jewish fostered, Talmudically plotted catastrophe thast overtook them between 1917 and 1990 and the endless numbers of their slaughtered families and countrymen, the total numbers of which could easily top 5 to 7 times the number of claimed dead in the Jewish holocaust?

Christians don't exactly have a clean sheet, with this just added to a long list. But Jews are being given the very worst of names lately, in the highest of societies. Where they use US presidents as puppets and decide which millions get to live, and which get to famish.
The world would be so much nicer if each of the religion (Islam included) would take care of their own garbage. This priest/monk here with apparent disrespect for other religions. The jews should kick out the bankers that claim to follow their faith. And what about the ones killing and enslaving the true locals in Palestina. You know, the people that evolved there.
Muslims had little to do with the whole 911 deal, but they're not all princesses either. I live in a mostly Islamic neighbourhood, and can tell not all are the same. Not all are worthy to visit any holy place, or claim association with a highly sophiticated book such as the Koran.
Christians are bad. Many of their leaders actually. The people in the streets, apart from some extreme ones, are just good people. Like most jews and most muslims. Somehow I never have reason to complain about Buddhists, Hindi or Bahai. I may uninformed.
I know Moldova, and it just doesn't reflect the spirit of the general people there.
I keep asking : what did the Jews do to the Orthodox, leading to before this incident? Even the worst of priests/monks, usually knows how to define a specific justification. Give us the whole story, as dispicable as the facts as offered are!
