Moldova: The 6th Worst Place On Earth...

...if you are a woman.

That's according to Foreign Policy Magazine's new list.

Moldova is a major source country for women trafficked into prostitution....some government officials and police officers have even been complicit in trafficking. But things might be looking up: The first female prime minister took office this year.

Even in it's treatment of women, Moldova can't win for loosing. But for the first time, that's a good thing.

2) Yemen

3) Sierra Leone

4) Nepal

5) Papua New Guinea
