Armenia and Azerbaijan Can't Play Nice, Both Sides Loose
The Euro 2008 Group A matches between Armenia and Azerbaijan were cancelled when neither country could agree where to play each other. Both teams were thus awarded zero qualifying points.
Always a peacemaker, Eternal Remont had suggested that Armenia and Azerbaijan play a "for keeps" match in Nagorno-Karabakh. But that game was also canceled when no one could guarantee the safety of the goats.
